This section of the e-prep 101 course is all about kits! And one of the most “popular” emergency kits is a 72 hour kit.

Yay!!!! My favorite part of emergency planning are the kits!!! I’m on Week #14 & I really need to work on our Stay home kit. We have just about everything you’ve suggested but it’s not in one centralized location. I love your blog & e-prep because it has really helped me stay focused & when I can’t keep up I know it’s ok because I just pick up where I left off & your posts motivate me to “catch up” so I can move onto the next thing – like car kits – which are my favorite!!! Keep up the awesome job because you have helped so many of us be better prepared for life!!!
Thanks Patti! You made me smile. I love knowing that what I’m doing is actually helping others. I’ll keep at it!
I’m on chapter one! Looking forward to getting better prepared!
Welcome Rachel!
I love emergency prep topics! I like many have been following the e-prep for a while, but am way behind. I just finished water. I now have my 3 -55 gallon tanks set-up and my water bricks filled up under every sink in the house. Thank you for all the information you provide us.
Ooooo. I LOVE the idea of keeping a water brick under each sink. I’m moving mine today. Thanks Nikki!
I am so grateful to get the weekly emails and Facebook reminders….I have been MIA for the course for couple of months now; its time to catch back up. You are amazing Misty!
Well welcome back Hilary!
I’m on week one and just completed my first assignment. I am a Navy wife, just moved to TX and had our first tornado warning. I am from NH…I have no idea what to do in a tornado!!! I realized how unprepared we are. My goal is tackle my list of top things to be prepared for and then start working in the others. I looked into the Thrive items…pretty cool!
Thanks for providing such valuable information.
Welcome Corinne! You sound just like me 7 years ago! I had not idea what to do in any emergency! Just take it a little at a time and you’ll get there. I’m glad you’ve joined us!
I’m on my first week, first assignment. I’m excited to see where I can improve my own preps that I’ve started!
Welcome Lisa! Make sure you comment and share what you’ve done as well. We can all learn from each other!
Just getting started, thanks for the great info!
You are very welcome Reid!
Hi Misty!
I JUST started TODAY! I’m super grateful for a stress free way of putting all of this together and being prepared for my sweet little family.
Yes, peace of mind is priceless…especially when you have a “sweet little family.” Enjoy the course Stephanie!
Hi Misty,
Just started your course, and excited to see what I’ll learn. Thanks for doing this!
Best,
Lauren
Glad to have you join Lauren! Good luck!
Been following awhile but way behind on completing assignments. Recently had hand surgery so am slowly getting back to seeing where I am
So sorry to hear about your surgery. Glad you are getting back into it. But I doubt you are the only one behind, so don’t feel alone! It can be tough to keep up!
I am starting the first chapter–looking forward to the rest.
Glad to have you join us Teresa!
So Glad I found you! I am just starting and did the first class…… Earthquakes are our number 1. My budget is tight and I liked what I read on your site about monthly shopping sales…
I look forward to all your classes.
Viki
I just signed up so I am not sure yet how much I can get done
Well welcome Thersea! It is great to have you!
This course has been so motivating for me! I’ve planned with my family, made some important purchases (yay for berkeys!) and started gathering important documents. I admit to reading a bit ahead of the newsletter on your blog but just because I’m excited to see what’s coming up. Thank you for the work you’ve put into this!
I’m on chapter 5
I love overachievers Lea! I’m glad it has been motivating and I love Berkeys as well!
I just signed up and am getting started. I used to follow your blog and then life got in the way. 🙂 My daughter helped me work on replacing food in our backpacks tonight.
Glad to have you back Natalie!
I’m telling all my friends about your site! I love your “non scarey” approach and weekly do-able tasks! On my way to being prepared!!! Just fingerprinted my whole family……
Thank you Whitney! I’m glad you are enjoying it and so grateful you are sharing it with others!
I just signed up and am on week #1. So Excited!
I’m glad you are excited Donna. Welcome!
I’m catching up on my year’s supply of food. I’m looking for deals and realistic food goals.
Next month we will be talking all about food and I will have a few deals available on some packages. You can also find tips here on how to find the best deals at my favorite food storage companies (Scroll down a bit): https://simplefamilypreparedness.com/food-storage-main/
I just signed up tonight for your E-Prep course. I am working on chapter one. Thanks for sharing your knowledge, Misty. I appreciate the help.
Yay! Welcome (again) Betty!
