I’m in week one of the course. Very good start!
Welcome Sarah!
I am in Week #1 of the course. I am so excited to start the course. I have belonged to your Facebook group for a while. Thank you for all the great information.
Hi Mylinda! So great to see you here! An official welcome to the course!
I am on week one…I’m excited, I feel pretty prepared, need to fill in the holes. Feeling I need to take a break and get a plan, so this week is perfect for me. Thanks!
Sounds great Sarah! Welcome! I’d love to have you comment and add your experiences!
I am in week 1 of the course. Excited to get on my way!
Glad to have you Lorie!
Just read the “How to Store Water” lesson. Looks like I’m doing okay. =) I just filled one more jug a couple days ago, so I think we’re up to 3 gal/ person/ day. We have a rain barrel outside, too. I need to go over some of the other lessons, as I haven’t had time to do them all yet. Thanks for the course!
You are welcome Sarah! I want a rain barrel!!! (They are illegal here).
Wow. How is a rain barrel illegal?
I guess the state thinks they own the water and don’t want us “taking” it. (-:
Mind blown. lol =) (Job 37:6)
I’m in the process of 1 and 2, and Week 7 in the 72 hour kits 🙂
Awesome Clarissa! Two at once is impressive!
Working on Week 13, got a bit behind due to family matters. June will be catch up month for me.
I’m behind too Sarah!
Just got the first email and am reading through “3 Steps to Determine What You Should Prepare For.” Great stuff!
🙂
I’m glad you are enjoying it Suzi! Welcome.
I am on ch. 1. I plan to make a plan and create goals for my emergency plan. 🙂
Perfect Wendy! Welcome!
Just started the course! Excited to learn!
Excited to have you here Kelly!
I’m working on Chapter 4. I have a pretty good plan on what to do when we are called to evacuate–but I need to practice it instead of just doing it in my head.
Practice can make so much difference! Everytime I’ve practiced something (putting up a tent, living w/o water, cooking with my food storage etc) I find holes / gaps and learn SO much!
I’m in week 1, finding a focus and setting goals. It sounds so simple but I was amazed at how much better I feel/less all over the place after doing the homework!! Thank you for helping me to find the focus and simplify the process of preparedness. 🙂
Yay! I love hearing that Becky! Glad you are feeling better! (-:
Well just started the E-course, even though i have been following your posts for awhile. We are getting settled in a coastal area, but have always lived in Ohio. So living in a hurricane evacuation area is new to us! Today I went through all my first aid supplies. Thanks for the recommendation of the burn gel, i got it and used it already on my finger. Also found that lidocaine is recommended for jelly fish stings so i stuck a couple of those in my first aid kit for the beach!
I had no idea about the jellyfish! Love learning new things. And I”m glad you had that gel! Doesn’t it work great?
Just started, looking forward to working the program!
Welcome Jeffrey!
I am in week 5. I am hoping to finish my 72 hour kit and my grab and go binder!
Good luck Rhonda!
We are on chapter 3 and working in our important documents, seeing what we need for our potential emergencies. I’ve been looking online for different things but may start checking out thrift stores for some bigger items. I’ve been avoiding them so I don’t spend unnecessarily. 🙂
i think you are really going to like some of the tips next week Sabrina….about how to spend less while “prepping.” (-:
I just happened onto your website and am really excited to study and learn along with you! We just began a preparedness group, with varying skills and knowledge, and I will be interested to see what we can glean from your research.
I’m just beginning on the reading so I don’t have a chapter to report in on yet. . . . but I will!
Well welcome! I would love you have you and your group share you knowledge here adn comment regularly! I’m sure I (and others) could learn from you too!
And sorry it took me forever to get back to you! My computer crashed and I’ve been dealing with that for a while!
Thanks for your insights, Misty. I’m always happy to hear how you are making life simpler with Thrive. It motivates me to get busy with mine. 🙂
Oh, and in answer to your question, I have just started the course, so I’m not on any class yet.
You should have gotten week #1 immediately Judi. Did you not get it?
Yay! It really can make life simpler!
And sorry it took me forever to get back to you! My computer crashed and I’ve been dealing with that for a while!
Currently Working on Building Food Storage and Non – Food Storage atm. Hitting Sales when I can. Have a good start on It at the moment. Looking forward to being more prepared
Love this. I receive your e-mails from before your revamp. So I thought I should re-enroll and take it over to get all the new info that might be offered, I really enjoy all your information and all the comments from fellow readers. Thank you for all the hard work that you have put in
You are very welcome Debbie! Glad to have you back “again” (-:
And sorry it took me forever to get back to you! My computer crashed and I’ve been dealing with that for a while!
Having joined last week, I just completed the homework for week one, chapter one. Yay for planning!
Yay for YOU for doing the planning Rachel!
And sorry it took me forever to get back to you! My computer crashed and I’ve been dealing with that for a while!
hurricane season started today so I am making a list of anything I need to replace or add to. also, checking on the water supply.
Sounds smart Maggi!
And sorry it took me forever to get back to you! My computer crashed and I’ve been dealing with that for a while!
that’s okay. I know you’re busy. I also bought a wonder washer yesterday. can’t wait to have it delivered later this week. I have wanted one of these forever and finally decided to go for it.
Yay! Good for you Maggi!
I finally got some water barrels so I am working on water this month 🙂
Yay! Water is essential!
And sorry it took me forever to get back to you! My computer crashed and I’ve been dealing with that for a while!
I’m on week # 9 which is rotating water. How timely is that? I’m moving this week and rather than lug filled jugs up and down stairs, I emptied them all and will refill using your 10 steps this Thursday. Thanks for all the time you’ve taken to prepare this course for us. God bless you.
God bless you too Kris, especially during yoru move. Good luck!
And sorry it took me forever to get back to you! My computer crashed and I’ve been dealing with that for a while!
I think it is so important to have a reserve on hand in case of an emergency! When my Father passed away, my Mom and little sister didn’t have any income so they lived off of the food storage they had acquired! What a life saver it was!
It can be used in so many circumstances Cheryl! You are absolutely right!
And sorry it took me forever to get back to you! My computer crashed and I’ve been dealing with that for a while!
