Food is an essential part of any good emergency plan. One thing that is often lacking when it comes to the food people have stored in their homes for emergencies is veggies!
Welcome!
Welcome to E-Prep 101 where we simplify the process of becoming prepared by breaking it down into weekly steps. This is the giveaway for July 2015 (we have one giveaway every month). If you haven’t already, you can enroll in the course here.
Some links in this post may be affiliate links, meaning at no additional cost to you, I may earn a small commission if you choose to purchase something. I only link to products I own, trust and would recommend to my family. Thank you for your support in this way!
What You Can Win
This month, I will be giving away a 3 month veggies supply from Thrive Life.
Most food storage plans that I’ve come across are sadly lacking in veggies. But veggies offer such a large variety of nutrients (especially freeze dried veggies), that I highly recommend you store as much as you can.
This package includes the following:
- 1 Broccoli – Freeze Dried
- 2 Sweet Corn – Freeze Dried
- 2 Green Peas – Freeze Dried
- 2 Potato Chunks – Dehydrated
- 1 Zucchini – Freeze Dried
- 2 Green Beans – Freeze Dried
How to Enter
Enter the giveaway below! Make sure if you enter by leaving a comment that your comment tells me what chapter you are working on in E-Prep 101. Only those enrolled in the course are eligible to win!

I’m glad you liked it Shaylene. That particular one took FOREVER, so I”m glad to know it is helpful!
I am a newbie! I just received my first 101 email! Thank you!!
You are very welcome!
I just signed up for your course and am looking forward to learning what to do and how to do it PROPERLY.l Gathering cans was just too much, but I want to start using freeze dried and dehydrated to make what my family WILL eat in case of emergency or any normal day.
Very smart Debbi! That is exactly what I do!
I’m a long-time prepper but I am always open to learning new things, so I just signed up for your e-prep course today. I look forward to getting it. You have a great website here.
I’m excited for your contributions Leia! The course will probably feel very basic for a long time prepper, but I hope you come add your input and ideas!
Today is my first time to visit your website! I only just now signed up for your online course so I haven’t even started chapter one yet.
My husband was given your information from a friend and we ordered our first Thrive items from you that arrived this week.
I look forward to trying them.
What did you get Janet?
We ordered a 6 can variety of meats and a 6 can variety of fruits. The first item we opened was the apricots and were pleased with the fresh tanginess of them.
I have also now read through Lesson number one and briefly discussed it with my husband so that he could begin thinking of “situations” to place in the evaluation sheet this weekend when we plan to really get into the topic. Thanks so much for organizing a plan and sharing it!
Just started first chapter. I’ve been learning, prepping, storing food for about a year now. With the economy being so unstable and the uncertainty of the future of our nation, I believe it’s wise to prepare for any and all emergency situations. Looking forward to learning more!
Glad to have you join us Toni!
Hello! Former reader returning since some of our supplies are depleted or scattered around the house. It looks like you’ve come up with dozens of new things for me to consider in the meantime, so I enrolled in the e-prep course and am on the first section.
Glad to have you “back” Aimee!
I am actually all over the map with the course. I had a lot of it done before I started the course so I am using it to go back over what I had done and see if there were more I could do. There’s always room for improvement.
I am currently working on setting up our rain barrel system.
I wish I could have one Dixie! Illegal here…
I am pretty up to date with the course but focusing on water and food storage the most. Thanks!
This is my first day. I found the map of natural disasters very interesting.
It is isn’t it?
I am fairly current, although not complete. Thanks for all your hard work!
My pleasure Anne. Glad it is helpful!
