I will be having THREE giveaways this month to celebrate National Preparedness month!

I’m so excited about each of these giveaways as they are all pretty big items!  The first two giveaways are sponsored by a whole group of preparedness bloggers that I have the privilege of joining and they will be open to all of our collective readers.  The last giveaway is something I’m doing on my own that is only for my readers as a “thank you” for supporting me!

Did you know that recently the city of Toledo, Ohio was not able to use their culinary water for quite some time?  They could not even boil it to make it safe because of the toxic nature of the water. Things like that can happen anywhere!  It is reasons like this that we need to get the word out about National Preparedness month.  Everyone should be prepared with at least the basics such as water and a decent food supply.  I wish every family in the world could have some type of system to purify their water if needed.  Water is essential to life and should be the first step in any preparedness effort.

So while I can’t give away a water filter to everyone in the world (darn it!), someone will win one this month, and it is a fantastic one!

RULES: This Big Berkey Water Purifier Giveaway is open to any resident who is 18 years of age or older who lives in one of the 48 US Contiguous States. This giveaway starts on Monday, Sept. 8th at 5:00 am (MDT) and ends on Saturday, Sept. 13th at 5:00 pm (MDT). The winner will be notified by email and will have 24 hours to respond. If we do not hear back from said winner in the designated time period of 24 hours we will choose another winner and they will have 24 hours to respond from the time the notification email is sent.
