Today’s recipe is super simple since it uses the new Thrive Bakery line.
I am really loving this line. The convenience is unbeatable! I love that I can have a loaf of bread rising or our favorite chocolate chip cookies in the oven in just 5 minutes or less. No thought required other than how much water to add! I like that when I’ve got four kids clamoring for my attention and the stress is starting to build.
This golden cornbread is a great addition to this line. It is wonderful served warm, with butter and jam or as a side to chili or my quick enchilada soup. It is non-GMO (yes, you read that right). But the best part is you can have it in the oven in 5 minutes!
The recipe is so simple, I almost feel silly posting it:
- Add 1 1/2 cups water to 3 cups mix.
- Pour into greased 8×8 pan
- Bake for 25-30 minutes
- Allow to cool for 10 minutes before eating
