How to Enter
Enter the giveaway below! Make sure if you enter by leaving a comment that your comment tells me what you are doing, have done, or plan to do this month to improve your first aid skills!
I have created first aid kits, but will review your information for additional ideas of what to include.. We get CPR training through our jobs, but I’ll do review at home.
Thank you for your e-mails.
You are welcome Niomi!
We will be watching your video links for first aid procedures…that is something I get mixed up on for sure. This many times for an adult, x amount of time for a child, babies need to be turned over on the forearm, etc. I’ll be printing out your handout as well. We also need a good comprehensive home first aid kit with the works so here’s to hoping we win the giveaway! 🙂
We have an ok first aid kit but I really want to make it better. I also want to learn more about first aid so that I am more confident in using the kit.
I don’t have much by way of first aid. So this month I am going to do quite a bit to have basic first aid for my family! 🙂
I’m going to make a small kit for my diaper bag!
I just became CPR certified! I am also going through our first aid kits and updating them! Thanks for your emails!
I cannot pin these two pages. The link does not take me to the right place to do so. I am restocking my bags to make sure all are up to date. I am also including the essential oils recommended for first aid. I have just begun to get familiar with these. I have even made a cream for yeast infections and my own whitening toothpaste.
Sorry about the pinning issues Nancy. I’ve contacted Pinterest and I’m trying to find out why they’ve been marked as spam. Thanks for letting me know!
I had a hard time pinning your pages. I finally was able to ! yay but I had to go back to your home blog and find the page etc.!

This week I started crash coursing your old list (which I pinned at least a year ago!) Now I have subscribed and am working from month 1! Which avtually makes sense for me, as we don’t get many disasters – that drive us out of our homes – in Northern Kentucky! 🙂
Yay! Love finding old things I’ve pinned and actually getting around to working on them. Glad to have you here Hannah!

Have a small basic first aid kit but want to start putting together a more comprehensive one. For those that don’t know if you buy 3 or 4 first aid items in Walgreen’s, they will give you a small bag to carry the items in for free.
Great tip Robert. Thanks!
I found your blog last year, but managed to avoid actually doing anything of any importance due to a variety of excuses. I just found your blog again and decided to commit myself this time and signed up! I signed up on Feb 28th and thought I would be getting the month 3 emails very shortly, so spent all day (in between taking care of a sick husband) trying to get all of month 1 done, so I would be closer to being on the same track! And then you very conveniently started me at the beginning, so I wouldn’t have to rush. 🙂 So I’m not actually working on the first aid stuff; however, most of my first aid gear is in a large jumble in one tub. But I have started working on all the month 1 forms!
Awesome! I should change the giveawy to say just tell me what you are working on in the Prep-101 course. (-: Welcome Hazel!
We’ve rrally started focusing on slbying extras of common medications we use, lots of extra bandages, gauze, etc. And have starting shopping around for sealed and sterilized medical equipment (scalpals, etc). We have a long way to go!
Let us know if you find any good deals in your search Tyler!
Updating my kit. Also stocked up on my essential oils and got the emergency ones that I’ll rotate into our medical supplies.
I really need to branch out an learn more about essential oils Heather!
Will be going over our medical kits (military and civilian) and IFAKs and updating anything that needs updating.
BTW, the second PIN was blocked by Pinterest as they said it was likely to contain spam..

Just signed up for first aid prep. Looking forward to becoming more organized with my first aid supplies
Welcome Mary Sue!
I am in the process of taking out old medications, buying new, making sure I have enough of various kinds of band aids.
There are a lot of options, aren’t there Diane?
I’m going to have to wait for a class to be offered locally to beef up my skills but I’m going through my kit this month to check for expiration dates. I had trouble with the second pin as well, I went to the page itself and pinned from there.

I collected supplies that I thought I would need for this last month. I now just need to get them organized, find out what else I missed. And put them in the container I got last month as well. I am excited to do this this month.
I get excited to organize too Ruth!
I’m starting a more comp. first aid kit and would love this to have with it!
The second pin was blocked. Pinterest stated it might contain spam 🙁

Thank you for the wonderful tips!!! Since my husband takes a blood thinner and falls because of a bloodpressure issue related to his Parkinson’s, any and all tips are readily accepted and used by me. A first-aid kit would be a wonderful addition to my first-aid!!
You are welcome Ann! I hope the info this month proves helpful.
For the last few months I’ve been buying first aid supplies all along as I’m shopping and just putting everything into a big duffel bag. I still have a few more things I’d like to add but I want to get everything organized so I can put my hands on it. My sister’s birthday is coming up in a few weeks and I would love to win this first aid kit for her to add to her emergency supplies.
How kind of you to give away your winnings Janet! And smart to pick up just a few extra supplies each week. I’m loving the idea of tackle boxes for organizing my kit.
Right now I’m trying to put all the first aid supplies in one place, I burned my hand and for some reason the burn medication was in the guest room. The goal is to have kits in my purse, our commuter bags, car, BoBs, and home.
That is so me right now! I’ve got first aid suppleis all over. Can’t wait to get them all organized using my new tackle boxes. (-:
I would like to build a comprehensive portable home first aid kit. I have seen some nice ones that people put together in a tackle box. Just need to figure out what all I need in it and buy a few more things! I would also like to print out “Where There Is No Doctor” to keep on hand.
I can’t pin your pages to Pinterest because they have been flagged as spam.
