Have a THRIVing Christmas!

Who Do You Know?

  • Do you know someone who diligently works to be self reliant?
  • Do you know a college student that eats out too much?
  • Do you know someone who is just starting to work towards being better prepared?
  • Do you know a busy mom who wants her kids to eat healthier but struggles to find the time to cook healthy meals?
  • Do you know an “empty nester” couple that throw out lots of leftovers / produce because it goes bad before they can get to it?
  • Do you know someone who would love a more organized pantry?
  • Do you know someone who loves to camp?

Then, you should consider giving one or more of these gifts to someone you know this Christmas!  These are some of my top choices for Christmas gifts this season for my family & friends.  They may work for someone you know as well.  Make sure you place your order by December 14th for Christmas delivery!  Order them by clicking here for the best pricing:

Thrive fruits are all non-GMO with no additives / preservative.  They are picked when fully ripe and flash frozen within 24 hours (unlike the fruit at the grocery store), which allows them to both gain and retain all possible nutrients.  They make a fantastic dry snack and work well in morning smoothies. Thrive veggies are all non-GMO with no additives / preservatives.  They are picked when fully ripe and flash frozen within 24 hours (unlike the fruit at the grocery store), which allows them to both gain and retain all possible nutrients.  They taste just like fresh in soups, stews and stir frys, but require no washing, peeling, or chopping. Many people don’t realize until after the power goes out that cooking during an extended power outage can be difficult at best.  Alternative cooking methods can be quite handy.  And you can “practice” using them each time you go camping!

Right now, the granny smith apples, banana slices, blackberries, pineapple and whole strawberries are on sale.  I also like the mangoes, raspberries and grapes.Or consider two Christmas fruit packages.  More info on the packages can be found here: THRIVE Christmas Packages Carrots are on sale right now.  I also really like the corn (even dry), onions, bell peppers, tomato powder and zucchini.Or consider a Christmas veggie package.  More info on the package can be found here: THRIVE Christmas Packages The Sun Oven is one of my all time favorite products.  I’ve also just recently been introduced to the Kindle Flameless cooking system, which is great for winter power outages when you can’t cook outdoors.  The firebox stove is versatile as is the Volcano stove.  And this little butane stoveis great for camping. Also consider the fuel puck Christmas package.  More info on the package can be found here: THRIVE Christmas Packages

Water is essential to life.  And it is likely that most everyone will experience a lack of running water in their lifetime.  FEMA suggests storing at least 3 gallons of water per person.  This is one of those gifts people rarely buy for themselves…they just keep putting it off. So, do it for them and give them a bit more peace of mind. Energy can be hard to come by in an emergency or when camping.  Yet, in our society, it is something that we use every single day and most would find it tough to do with out.  Having solar powered chargers and tools is simply smart. If you don’t rotate your food properly, you will likely waste it b/c it will go back before you get to it.  But when you have a lot of cans, this can be difficult to do without a “first in first out” rotation system.  Plus, they just make your pantry look so nice!

Water bricks are great for small spaces / college students.  A 55 gallon drum is wise for a family.  5 gallon containers with spigots work well to replace a faucet.  This new Sawyer mini filtration system (or 4 pkg) is a backpackers DREAM.  It is a fantastic value, lightweight, and filters 100,000 gallons! Also consider two Christmas water packages.  More info on the packages can be found here: THRIVE Christmas Packages All Goal Zero products are exceptional.  I also highly recommend a radio / flashlight charger combo, and a simple light source such as a solar crank lantern. The Cansolidator is affordable and can be bought in multiples and linked together / stacked.  The Harvest 72” (standard or for #10 cans only) is crazy popular.  Everyone I meet wants one, but doesn’t want to splurge (which makes is a great gift!) and the Reserve 72” for #10 cans is on sale for a great price this month.
