January 17, 2015 //  by Simple Family Preparedness//  2 Comments

Save yourself time by using these products to solidify your emergency preparedness plan. Read interviews with the creators to make an infomed decision about what is best for your family.

Welcome!

Welcome to Prep-101! This is Month #1 (Create a Preparedness Plan), Chapter #5. You can find the rest of Month #1’s posts here and details on the entire course here.  You can also follow me (and others) as we progress through this course on Instagram with hastag #Yohsprep101.

If creating a preparedness plan is still overwhelming to you, I’ve found three products that may help.  But before you run out and purchase them, I want to tell you a bit about them and allow you to “meet” the creators.

Each of the creators / authors of the following products took the time to let me interview them this month so that you can get to know them and their product a bit better.  If you have any questions about any of these products, you can email me directly and I will either get an answer for you or put you in touch with the author / creator.

Prepare My Life Planner

The Prepare My Life Planner: $$$$

The Prepare My Life Planner is a grab and go binder AND an entire step, by tiny little step system for creating an emergency preparedness plan.  Absolutely worth the money!

Preparedness Planner

The Preparedness Planner: $$

The Preparedness Planner is an printable planning and inventory system you can use to plan and track your food storage, medical supplies, bug out bags, water storage, gardening supplies, and all your gear.

 Survival Mom Book

The Survival Mom Book: $

The Survival Mom book is a friendly, fun, well-written guidebook to getting your family prepared.

The purpose of these interviews isn’t to convince you to buy these products.  If you don’t have it in your budget, then don’t purchase them!  However, if you do have it in your budget, these products can save a LOT of time, and time is money, right?  All three serve different purposes and yet they are all extremely helpful.  My hope is that the interviews and details on the products will help you make a more educated decision as to if these products are right for your family.

Save yourself time by using these products to solidify your emergency preparedness plan. Read interviews with the creators to make an infomed decision about what is best for your family.

Wow! Just wow! Misty, I posted early on about my excitement for your course & I have to tell you that you have NOT disappointed. Because of you I have finally created our family emergency plan, my kids id kits, & mine (still waiting for the hubby though) – all done conveniently using your book that I purchased awhile ago & am finally using!!!! The password tracker was a blessing! Used it & now all my passwords are organized & in a safe place! My goal is to tackle the tasks every week to help me not feel so overwhelmed & it has worked. Working on my 3 lists & soon our evacuation plan. I have been eyeing The Prepare My. Life Planner for a couple of months & I think it may just be time to buy it. Never gave food storage much thought but after reading more & more about why its important & also having my husband eat our bugging in food supplies without telling me I think it may be something worth buying.
