The system that smart moms use to get busy families prepared for emergencies without never ending google-ing or tiresome research.
[/text_block]
You Want To Be Prepared for Emergencies
But,
[/text_block]
You Can’t Find The Time
[/text_block]
To Figure Out What You Need to Do, Much Less Actually DO It
[/text_block]
GOOGLE-ING “EMERGENCY PREPAREDNESS” GIVES YOU A MILE-LONG LIST OF EXTREME IDEAS AND CONFLICTING OR ONE-SIZE-FITS-ALL ADVICE.
[/text_block]
So You Keep Pushing it to the Back Burner Because It’s:
[/text_block]
Before you start working on emergency preparedness, you have to figure out what needs to be done. That’s burdensome – which means it never lands at the top of your priority list.
[/text_block]
Thinking of all that could go wrong in life makes you frantic and anxious and you don’t like it. Ignorance is bliss, right?
[/text_block]
You’ve never experienced an earthquake, a long term job loss or been without power for more than a few hours. It feels unlikely that you will tomorrow. So, you procrastinate.
[/text_block]
But you have kids and you worry
You want to be able to provide for them no matter what, and that keeps nagging at you in the back of your mind.
You know you ought to be better prepared
But you want to prepare smarter, not harder.
YOU WANT TO:
[/text_block]
(And, really, you secretly wish you had a magic preparedness fairy godmother to simply grant you all these wishes)
[/text_block]
You aren’t paranoid or “doomsday” – nor do you want to be. You want to be prepared so you can stop worrying about the worst – and get rid of that nagging voice in the back of your mind.
[/text_block]
You want to spend your limited time and money on the things that will bring the greatest returns – and you need to prepare first for the risks that are most relevant to your family.
[/text_block]
You want to know WHAT TO DO AND HOW TO DO IT without the tiresome research and never ending google-ing that your busy life doesn’t have room for.
[/text_block]
You must avoid mistakes that will waste your limited time and money – You need to get this right the first time, so you don’t have to start over again in a few years.
[/text_block]
So-called expert opinions seem to conflict with each other. You want to know what is best for YOUR family in YOUR situation so you can act decisively.
[/text_block]
You want to know: What to store – How much water you need – How much food you need – How many days to be prepared for – Other important supplies you should consider – And where it all should go – WITHOUT all the legwork.
[/text_block]
I Get It
[/text_block]
That’s Why I Created the Simply Prepared eCourse
[/text_block]
(While it’s not quite a preparedness wish granting fairy godmother, it is pretty darn close)
[/text_block]
Hi There! I’m Misty and I’ve been where you are.
[/text_block]
I had lots of excuses, but honestly, it felt too hard and not urgent enough. I didn’t start because I didn’t know where to start.
Then, I became a mother of beautiful twin boys and I found my motivation.
I spent 8 years reading, experimenting, and practicing preparedness while helping others to avoid that effort by sharing what I was learning on a popular blog. Plus, I was featured on HLN TV in November of 2012, Preparedness Radio in January of 2014, the Mormon Channel radio show in January of 2016, and ABC13 in November of 2016.
But I realized that though the information I was sharing was helpful, it was still a hodge-podge of articles that readers had to spend time sorting through. I wanted to remove that obstacle.
In 2015 I began to create the step by step emergency preparedness system (the fairy godmother) I wish I’d had back in 2007.
The finished product was released (and well received) as The Simply Prepared eCourse for the first time in March of 2016, and it is now open for enrollment again.[/text_block]
I designed SIMPLY PREPARED to get busy families prepared for emergencies (the right way) without never ending google-ing or tiresome research.
SIMPLY PREPARED IS A 12-week ONLINE LEARNING PROGRAM
You don’t have to leave the comfort of your own home to go through the program.
Each week, for 12 weeks, you will gain access to a new “Module” in video, downloadable audio and printable formats so you can learn anytime it is convenient for you:
After the kids are in bed | During your commute | Relaxing in the tub
Each module includes 1-3 simple, clear, and easy-to-implement lessons that walk you through the process of preparing your family for emergencies in a logical, step by step manner.
No need to spend hours researching and experimenting on your own. I do that for you and then present the pros and cons of various options to you clearly and concisely so you can make informed decisions for your family without investing hours of research.

Being a former U.S. Marine, LEO, firefighter/paramedic, firearms instructor, avid bushcrafter, Boy Scout leader and ham radio operator, preparedness has been my “thing” for more than 20 years. Misty has, by far, the most complete and well thought out course of anything I’ve seen. It will be the best money you’ve spent on preparedness. It is very methodically laid out and forces you to think, in definite terms, about WHAT you’re preparing for, HOW likely it is to happen, WHAT you’ll do for each emergency, WHAT things you’ll need to get through that emergency and SO much more. You’ll save yourself from buying WAY too much stuff you don’t need or won’t use.
-Rob, Illinois
You Can’t Afford To Waste Money or Time and Simply Prepared Will Save You Both
[/text_block]
You’ll make back your investment.
As Rob said above, one huge benefit of this course is that it will save you money in the long run.
As a blogger, many companies ask me to test their products for free. It simply would not be possible for you to duplicate that opportunity.
You can’t afford mistakes that will waste your limited time and money – You need to get this right the first time, so you don’t have to start over again in a few years.
I’ll show you the pros and cons of various product choices. I’ll help you find hidden discounts. I’ll show you numerous ways to prepare for free (and other that are pretty close to free).
All so you invest your precious dollars where they will do the most good.
You can’t put a price on peace of mind
You can’t quantify being able to get your family through tough times. If you are serious about preparing your family for the unknown, investing in this course is an easy decision.
Face just one disaster — even a mini-emergency — and you will be grateful you invested in Simply Prepared. Put it off for another time and you will wish you’d started today.
Time is Money
Last, if your time is money, this course will save you hundreds of hours of research and experimentation.[/text_block]
Simply Prepared will ensure you never have to “wing-it”
[/text_block]
Help May Take Longer Than You Think
Goverment agencies simply don’t have the resources to help everyone. FEMA even teaches: “Citizen preparedness is fundamental to national preparedness.” It can often take days and sometimes even weeks for them to get to you – if they ever do. And while you wait,
- Your stress level will be at an all time high.
- Yet, you will need to make quick life changing decisions.
- And you likely won’t have access to the internet to help you figure out what to do.
The more prepared you are, the easier it will be to keep you family safe.
You Need A Plan
Think you can run to the grocery store last minute?
Well, many of your neighbors will be trying to do the same thing – and you will like find nothing but empty shelves.
The same will be true of gas stations – they’ll likely be out. Credit card machines may not work. Freeways may not be open.
You need a plan.[/text_block]
Even if you never face a disaster, you will be grateful you Simply Prepared
[/text_block]
Disasters Aren’t All That Rare
You might think “Well, it’s pretty unlikely that anything will happen to me.”
Actually, over 1 million people in the United States were affected by some type of disaster in 2015. (Source – NOAA). That means that one in every 300 people were affected.
Disasters aren’t quite as rare as some might think.
But I’ll admit, it is still possible that you will never face one.
The Good News
The good news is that even if you never face a true disaster or long term job loss, your efforts at getting your family prepared will still be useful.
Being well prepared adds daily convenience.
- Prepare a quick, nutritious meal even on busy nights when you can’t get to the store or forget to thaw out the meat (and avoid fast food).
- Quickly comfort your hurting child when they skin their knee at the park (without having to go home).
- Stay safe on the road during a snow storm.
- Get a hot, home cooked dinner on the table even if the power is out for a few hours.
- Run a last minute dinner to a sick friend’s family.
- Share your powerless cooking supplies when the utilities are turned off at your out of work brother’s home.
- Save money by stocking up on food when it’s on sale.
I use my preparedness supplies multiple times each week.
[/text_block]
lifetime access to Simply Prepared means you’ll never “fall behind” no matter how busy you are
[/text_block]
You will Always Have Access
You will have lifetime access to the materials in this eCourse, and the community built for it. This means that while the modules are released one at a time over 11 weeks, you can work through the eCourse at your own pace if you need to!
Don’t let being busy be your excuse if providing for your family is truly important to you.
The course is designed for those who are busy
You can access the material anytime day or night.
Read lessons while in the doctor’s waiting room, watch them on the treadmill or download and listen to them during your commute or while you walk the dog. You can even print them and read them in the bathtub if that works best for you!

[op_liveeditor_element data-style=””][text_block style=”undefined” align=”left”]The course officially begins on January 31st. You will receive and email by 10:00 am MST that morning letting you know that module one is open.
However, the day you enroll, you will be given access to module zero of the eCourse which you can work through as you wait for the official start.
In addition, you will be sent an invitation to join the Facebook community the day after you enroll.[/text_block][/op_liveeditor_element]

All of the lessons in the eCourse are pre-recorded and pre-written. It is not delivered live and you do not have to “attend” at a certain time.
To access the material, you will log into the eCourse website at your convenience. From there you can watch, read, or listen to your lessons anytime you want (even at 1:00 am if that is what you need).

Not a bit. You are exactly who I’ve designed this eCourse for! This is the step-by-step system I wish I’d had back in 2007 when I first started working on emergency preparedness as a complete newbie.
And remember, you will also be able to ask questions anytime in the Facebook group as well as live during our Q&A calls.

Yep! You can ask a question anytime inside our private Facebook community and I will get back to you within 24 hours (M-F).
In addition, we will have 3 live Q&A calls that you can attend.
I will not leave any question unanswered. Even if I do not have an answer for you, I will reach out to my many contacts in the preparedness community and find an answer for you!

That depends!
Each video / audio lesson is around 15-20 minutes long. There are typically two lesson per module. So the actual module content would take 30-40 minutes each week.
But each lesson has additional materials available: worksheets, contributor bonuses, charts, printables, etc. This additional material is well organized and directly supports the lesson material. But it could take an hour or two to work through all of it. The great thing is, you can work through this additional material (or even the basic lesson material) at any rate you choose!
You don’t have to do everything each week. You will have access to all the information in this course for the lifetime of the course. There is no rush!
[/text_block][/op_liveeditor_element]
[op_liveeditor_elements][/op_liveeditor_elements]
+
[op_liveeditor_element data-style=””][text_block style=”undefined” align=”left”]You will have lifetime access to the materials in this eCourse, and the Facebook community built for it. This means that while the modules are released one at a time over 11 weeks, they are never “taken away” from you once they’ve been released. So, if you need to, you can work through the eCourse at your own pace!
In addition, I’ve designed the course to work well for those who are busy. You can access all the material (as it is released each week) anytime day or night.
You can read your lessons while in the doctor’s waiting room, watch them while on the treadmill or download and listen to them during your commute or while you walk the dog. You can even print them and read them in the bathtub that works best for you!
*Note: Lifetime = the lifetime of the eCourse. I anticipate it being available for a very long time and would give years notice if I ever decide to take it down. But I can’t guarantee it will be available for your entire lifetime (which could be longer than mine!)

[op_liveeditor_element data-style=””][text_block style=”undefined” align=”left”]I understand that this eCourse is likely a significant investment for many. But I see it as just that – an investment, not just a purchase.
When you invest in knowledge, you are more likely to apply it, use it and benefit from it. Sadly, much of the knowledge we get for free (or very little) get shelved and never used. I am serious about getting your family better prepared and I want you to be serious about it too!
Beyond that, one huge benefit of this course is that it will save you money in the long run.
Plus, you can’t quantify being able to get your family through tough times. If you are serious about preparing your family for the unknown, investing in this course is an easy decision.
Face just one disaster — even a mini-emergency — and you will be grateful you invested in Simply Prepared. Put it off for another time and you will wish you’d started today.
Last, if your time is money, this course will save you hundreds of hours of research and experimentation.
Phew…I think that was the longest answer to a quick Q&A ever!

[op_liveeditor_element data-style=””][text_block style=”style_1.png” align=”left”]Yep! I’m so convinced that this course will benefit your family that if it doesn’t, I will buy it back from you! You have three weeks (21 days) from the start date of the Simply Prepared eCourse to request a full refund from me.

[op_liveeditor_elements][/op_liveeditor_elements]
+
[op_liveeditor_element data-style=””][text_block style=”undefined” align=”left”]That depends on what you mean by “share.”
Yes, you may share it with anyone in your household (those that live in the same house or apartment as you). Emergency preparedness should involve the entire household and this course will be much more effective if you are all participating together.
But you may not share it with anyone outside of your immediate household. Please do not download the material and send it to friends or family or share your login. Do not post the information in Facebook groups or other communities you are a part of.

Like many people who are beginning to realize the necessity of being prepared, I was completely overwhelmed. So much so, I was practically paralyzed. Misty’s Simply Prepared eCourse helped me break down all of the different components of emergency preparedness and made it extremely easy to be focused and accomplish my goals.
