THRIVE Express

Introducing….

THRIVE Express

I’m thrilled to announce that THRIVE Life (formerly Shelf Reliance) now offers THRIVE express.  These meals in a pouch are incredible!  My husband and I were both able to try them at the THRIVE Life (formerly Shelf Reliance) convention last weekend and we were shocked at how good they are!

  • Save Time

    • Most take just 15 minutes to prepare.  And all you do is add water!
  • Save Money

    • At less than $2 per serving on average, these will cost you a lot less than a trip for fast food!  You can buy them in 5 pks of each individual entrée, soup, or side.  You can also buy a 12 pk that contains 1 of each.
  • Eat Well

    • These meals are simply delicious. I have to admit I was very skeptical. I thought: “They might work for camping / backpacking, but I wouldn’t eat them for dinner at home.” I expected them to taste like Chef Boyardee like most such entrees do. Well, I’m thrilled to tell you I was wrong!  All THRIVE Express entrees were developed by THRIVE Life (formerly Shelf Reliance)’s in house professional chef: Chef Todd. I’ve tried them all and they are simply fabulous! You would never guess they were just add water meals!
  • Be Healthy

  • Nothing Like It!

    • Add to all the above a 5-10 year shelf life!  You simply will not find anything like this product!

  1. Several of these don’t sound friendly for the lactose-intolerant crowd. But, in an emergency, I’d risk it rather than go hungry. LOL

  2. Misty,

I am beginning to work through your emergency prep list as I prepare a kit for my family. Thank you for such a great guideline. I am thinking through food and most of my family deals with dairy intolerance. Are there any prepared meals that are dairy free? Thank you.

    • The potatoes, most of the soups and the chili would not require a heat source, but it would take some time for them to hydrate in cold water. The others (those that have pasta and rice) would need to be cooked.

  3. Hi Misty,

I’ve been looking your website over for the past month. Very interesting.
Couple of questions, do the food packages have nutitonal values listed on them and can I see them before I buy? As I am currently living in AZ, how would heat affect these foods? Love the look/idea of the new pouch meals, sides….

    Thanks,

    Cheryl

    • Yes Cheryl. Once they are available for purchase (on the 26th), you will be able to see everything on the nutritional panel.

The shelf life of the THRIVE Express is 5-10 years (depending on which one) and based at about 70 degrees. If they are stored at 80 year round, you cut that shelf life in half. 90 degrees would cut again. I suggest you keep them in the coolest place you can.

    • Katie. I’ve found out that what I was told by Shelf Reliance was not completely accurate (or maybe I misunderstood), but it seems there are SOME additives. I’m working to find more details and will post them as soon as I know more!

      • Thanks for the link. It’s good to see that Thrive seems focused upon making food convenient, but still working to make it healthful.
